THE MIRACLE CAVE
In years gone by the caves and springs were visited and described by Lady Anne Barnard 1798, Sir John Barrow 1795, Lichtenstein 1804, Teenstra 1825, Thompson 1827. Many interesting stories have been written about these Caves and they have been termed "The Lord's Magic Caves" - The Healing Caves" and so forth. There undoubtedly a great deal of beauty at De Kelders.

KAYAK TOURS
Set off from Stanford's Cove on Sea Kayaks with a qualified tour guide and lifesaver. Paddle around the rugged rocks of De Kelders to the "Drop Kelders", meaning the dripping cave found in 1776, making it the oldest cave in South Africa. Equipped with safety hats and head torches we enter this amazing cave. From there we paddle around the famous Klipgat Cave where Middle Stone Age people use to live 100 000 years ago. This unforgettable experience will end at Stanford's Cove.

Sunset Cruises:
Cost: ZAR6 000.00 for the boat, maximum capacity 12 persons. Includes snacks and drinks capacity 10 persons.
Departs from Gansbaai Harbour cruising to The Plaat (the wellknown Walker bay) and back.
Duration: ± 2H30min

Boat Cruises:
Cost: ZAR250pp
Departing from Gans Bay Harbour crusing to Danger Point and "HMS" Birkenhead Shipwreck and back.
Minimum 6 persons per trip, if less than 6 persons a total of R1 500.00 for the boat for such a cruise.
Duration: ± 1H30min

Dyer Island Boat Cruise:
Cost: ZAR750pp
Departing from Gans Bay Harbour cruising to Dyer Island to view Cape Fur Seals, Penquins and shark surface viewing.
Minimum 6 persons per trip. If less than 6 persons, R4,500.00 for the boat for such a cruise.
